What is happening

Rove has added Copa Airlines ConnectMiles as a transfer partner and launched it with a 40 percent bonus, running through 11:59pm Eastern on September 30, 2026.

Why Copa is worth knowing about

Copa does not add fuel surcharges when you book partner airlines, and its partners include Emirates, ANA, Lufthansa and Swiss. Saver business class from the US to Dubai, the rest of the Middle East and Africa prices at 80,000 miles. On paper that is excellent.

On paper is doing some work in that sentence

Finding the saver seats is the hard part. Reviewers searching a lot of routes and dates could not turn up saver space on Emirates, and non saver awards jump to several times the price. Treat the 80,000 as the best case, not the going rate.

The real ratio

Rove moves to Copa one for one, so 1,000 becomes 1,000
With the bonus, 1,000 Rove miles become 1,400 Copa miles
No fuel surcharges on Emirates, ANA, Lufthansa or Swiss

Do not chase this one. Search Copa for the seat you actually want first. If the saver space is there, the no surcharge thing makes it a real win. If it is not, a 40 percent bonus on miles you cannot spend is worth nothing.
