A travel concierge handles the entire planning process for you. That means destination research, building your custom itinerary, finding accommodation options, sourcing activities, and laying out everything clearly so you can just review and book. Think of it as having a well-travelled friend in your corner who does all the hard work, so you can focus on the excitement of actually going.
How is this different from a regular travel agent?+
Traditional travel agents often focus on booking travel products and packages. Mame Dee Travel World is a travel concierge service focused on trip planning, destination research, travel strategy, points and miles guidance, and helping you make informed travel decisions. I help you understand your options, find opportunities, and create a travel plan that fits your goals, budget, and travel style.
What does the $100 consultation fee cover?+
Your $100 consultation is a dedicated 30-minute video call with Deja where she digs into your trip vision, travel style, budget, and must-haves. This is what makes your plan actually fit your life instead of being another generic itinerary. Without this step, the planning process can’t start because the details matter. The fee goes toward your service package when you move forward.
What destinations do you cover?+
Honestly? Anywhere and everywhere. Mame Dee Travel World plans both domestic and international trips. Popular picks include Paris, Tokyo, Mauritius, Cancun, Bali, Rome, London, Dubai, the Caribbean, Mexico, Japan, Ghana, Egypt, and cities across the US like New York, Miami, Las Vegas, and Hawaii. If you can dream it, it can be planned. Have a destination in mind? Just bring it up in your consultation and we’ll go from there.
How long does it take to get my itinerary?+
After your consultation and questionnaire are complete, you can expect your custom itinerary within 7 to 14 business days. That’s not a long wait at all when you think about it: 7-14 business days is roughly 1.5 to 3 calendar weeks, and in that time Deja is deep in research mode building a trip that’s actually tailored to you. More complex, multi-destination trip plans may sit toward the longer end. Either way, you’ll know your timeline upfront.
Do you book my flights and hotels for me?+
No direct booking is handled, but here’s what happens instead: once your final fee is paid, you receive your complete trip plan with direct booking links included. You click the link, you book. It’s that simple. All the research is done, the options are vetted, and all you have to do is pull the trigger. No searching, no comparing, no second-guessing.
Can I travel solo, with a partner, family, or group?+
Yes to all of them. Solo adventures, couples trips, girls trips, family vacations, group travel, you name it. Mame Dee Travel World also plans trips around special occasions like anniversaries, honeymoons, graduation trips, birthday getaways, work retreats, and milestone celebrations. Your plan is built around who’s going and what the trip needs to feel like.
What if I want to make changes to my itinerary?+
Revisions are part of the process. Once you get your draft itinerary, you review it and flag anything you want to adjust. Deja wants you to love every detail of your trip plan before you start booking, so don’t be afraid to speak up. It’s your trip.
What budget do I need to work with you?+
There’s no minimum budget, but your budget does need to be realistic. For example, if your goal is 5 days in Hawaii covering flights, accommodation, food, activities, and transport, a $500 total budget won’t get you there. Part of Deja’s job is being honest about what’s possible with what you have. If your dream trip doesn’t match your budget right now, she won’t just say no. She’ll find alternative options, suggest adjustments, or help you plan a different version that actually works. A good travel concierge thinks outside the box so you can catch flights, not feelings.
How do I get started?+

At Mame Dee Travel World, we offer a personalized and seamless travel planning experience. To get started, simply fill out the form on our website, email us directly, or schedule a consultation via our Calendly page. The consultation fee is $100. This initial session allows us to understand your travel preferences and needs so we can craft the perfect itinerary for your dream trip.

Consultation Process:

During the consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss your specific travel requirements, including your budget, destinations, flights, accommodations, activities, and more. After gathering all the necessary details, our specialist will research and compile a customized travel plan tailored specifically to you.

You will receive a detailed document outlining all options for flights, hotels, transportation, activities, and more. This document will give you a chance to review the findings and ensure everything meets your expectations.

If you are satisfied with the plan, you will receive a payment link for a non-refundable set fee of $300. Upon receiving payment, we will provide you with the exact booking links for your flights, hotels, and activities, along with all relevant details, so you can book everything yourself.

Example Scenario:

The customer fills out the form on our website, completes the $100 consultation transaction price, and then schedules a consultation date to discuss their travel needs.

Customer Request: “I need to find a one-way flight from Tanzania to the Philippines for two people. My budget is $1500-$2000 USD in total. We will have checked baggage. The flight can be between December 31-January 5. Can you assist me?”

Mame Dee Travel World:

“Absolutely! Based on the details we gathered during the consultation, I will conduct thorough research and present you with tailored options for flights and hotels. Once I have compiled everything into a detailed itinerary, you can review the findings. If you are happy with the plan, you will pay a set fee of $300 to receive the booking links, which includes the exact name of the airline, hotel, and transportation information. Does that work for you?”

Customer Response: “Yes, that sounds good!”

Mame Dee Travel World conducts research and sends the customer a detailed email outlining the options.

Mame Dee Travel World Email:

“I have found two flight options for you:

  1. Option One: A $1200 USD flight with an 18-hour layover in Malaysia. There are four hotels inside the airport, along with a variety of restaurants. This option is very convenient and provides comfort during your long layover.

  2. Option Two: A $1400 USD flight with a 5-hour layover in Dubai. However, you would need to pick up your baggage in Dubai and recheck it with another airline. Please note that Tanzanian citizens require a visa for Dubai.

Additionally, I have researched hotel options for your layovers and nearby dining spots.”
